Kennedys In Charles Town

Charles Town, April 26 - U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline, will be central figures in a political rally at the Charles Town Race Course at 8 p.m. D.S.T., Wednesday.
The event is sponsored by the Jefferson County Kennedy-for-President committee, with Shirley Hunt serving as chairman.
"Kennedy will be the first Presidential candidate in modern times to hold a major political rally in the county," says Hunt.
The candidate will present an address which will be carried by Station WEPM, Martinsburg.
The entertainment program will include numbers by the Charles Town High School band; the Key Kings Quartet of Charles Town; songs by Mrs. William Snyder of Shepherdstown, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Mary E. Peters of Charles Town; and group singing led by John Caldwell of Martinsburg.
The rally will be followed by a dance, featuring music by the Metronomes.
