Edward M. Kennedy

Edward M. (Ted) Kennedy was born in Brookline, Mass. on February 22, 1932. A graduate of Harvard the University of Virginia Law School, he is now devoting all his efforts to the presidential campaign of his brother, Senator John F. Kennedy.
Ted Kennedy played varsity football at Harvard and served two years with the U. S. Army in France, and Germany. He managed Senator Kennedy's 1958 campaign for re-election in Massachusetts, which Kennedy won by 870,000 votes. In November, 1958, he married Virginia Joan Bennett, Bronxville, New York.
A member of the Massachusetts bar, he has traveled extensively on behalf of his brother, meeting with Democratic leaders in all parts of the country and touring the Ohio River valley, visiting St. Marys, Sistersville, New Martinsville, and Pine Grove recently.
