The Museum in the Park in Logan will be closed Oct. 10-28, 2005 for installation of new exhibits. The museum will reopen with regular operating hours on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Part of the Chief Logan State Park complex, the Museum in the Park is a regional cultural center showcasing the best in West Virginia history and the arts. The museum, located four miles north of Logan on W.Va. Rt. 10, is operated by the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History. Museum hours are Thursday-Friday from 5-9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
