Sir
I have the honor to report the following as the proceedings of my command of independent scouts of West Virginia troops during this month
I have kept the men in the back part of the county all this month There has been no disturbances nor any gunllar been seen or heard of in this county Since I reported to you before This was one man by the name of Oliver Haurs came back from the Southern army to Tyler Co. He was harbored there for three weeks or a month and [?] three men and took them off with him Hes was kept conceaded all the train he was out If you wish me to Quarntine my men out in the back part of the county you mite lease give me privilege of Quartining in as [?] House there is out there.
