I Isaac N Estabrook Lieutenant Commanding Company 6th Virginia Regiment Volunteer militia at West Union Doddridge County Va, do certify that I superintended an election held in said Company on the 29th day of November 1861. For Captain and second Lieutenant for said Company. At which Election John Carroll was unanimously Elected Captain and John Donahue second Lieutenant. And I for them certify that at the time of holding said Election there were 83 members in said Company & 73 present
