To the adjant[sic] General office
Dear sir you are noen[sic] to the account made out in Capt Bushes name in-serving the subsis[sic] laws[sic] of the men while at harisville[sic] September 63 Capt bush has not paid over that money to mastain[sic] and Patton they have been writing and sending me word that they want thare[sic] money Capt bush says that he will pay Martin when he gets redy[sic] and says he dos[sic] not care wether[sic] he pays Patton or not I want you to try and see if you cant make Capt bush pay over that money I am looking to [?] someone on the account at any time try if youplease and have this mater[sic] attended to as I dont want to pay that money when Capt bush has got the money from the state and made use of it as I have no dout[sic] yours with respect
