This feature is designed to aid persons doing research on West Virginia counties. All of the listed resources can be found in the West Virginia State Archives Library.
The Archives will not answer e-mail research requests. All research requests must be submitted in writing to the Archives and History Library; The Cultural Center; 1900 Kanawha Boulevard, E.; Charleston, WV 25305-0300. Requests must be accompanied by the appropriate research fee (checks made payable to Division of Culture and History). The West Virginia State Archives is not a lending library. We encourage you to visit the Archives to access the holdings in our collection.
