Susanne Fisher Will Sing At Roosevelt Inauguration

Famous W. Va. Girl Will Appear With Other Noted Vocalists

Susanne Fisher, West Virginia famous Metropolitan opera star, will sing at President Roosevelt's inaugural concert in Washington next Wednesday with Richard Crooks, Richard Bonelli and Kathryn Meisle. These artists will assist on the program of the National Symphony orchestra, conducted by Hans Kindler, at a concert that will be held in place of the inaugural ball.

Present in the audience will be the President and Mrs. Roosevelt and many West Virginians, in Washington for the inauguration. The concert will be broadcast over a nation-wide and international radio hookup.

Miss Fisher is now in New York where she is recovering from an attack of influenza, which obliged her to cancel several appearances at the Metropolitan.

Miss Fisher's home is in Sutton, Braxton county. She has appeared here several times, last year singing to a capacity audience in the high school auditorium. She sang twice before the Rotary club while on vacation.
