Meeting of the Loyal Citizens of Wetzel County.

WETZEL COUNTY, Oct. 5, 1861.
At a parade of Capt. P. G. West's company of patrols in Wetzel county, the following preamble and resolution were unanimously adopted:
WHEREAS, being satisfied from the conduct of the rebels that they do not consider the oath bonding, and are cheering over the defeat of the Union party; and whereas, we are determined to have peace or war in our midst by adopting such measures as will be binding, therefore
Resolved, That we call upon all in Wetzel county who have favored and are favoring the rebel cause to attend the parade of Capt. West's company at the mouth of Falling Timber Run, on the South Fork of Fishing Creek, on the 26th of October, 1861, to give such evidence of their loyalty as will be satisfactory to the officers and soldiers of said company, or hereafter abide the consequences.
