Vote in Tucker County.
Hannahsville, May 24.
Editors Intelligencer:
Thursday, the 22d was a high day in the county of Tucker. Our election for State and county officers came off, and there was considerable interest manifested in the latter, particularly for Clerks and Commissioner of the Revenue. Voters of southern feeling took no part, and but very few came to the polls. At two precincts there was no election, and at the other three there was about 84 votes cast for Peirpoint, Polsley and Wheat, which was the entire vote, there being no opposition for those offices.
A. H. Bowman, Esq., was elected Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Clerk; Wm. W. Parsons, Commissioner of the Revenue; A. D. Moore, Sheriff; and Solomon Bonner, County Surveyor.
