From Braxton County. - A meeting was held at Braxton C. H., on the 7th inst., for the purpose of appointing delegates to the Parkersburgh Convention. The following named gentlemen were appointed:
Wm. D. Rollyson, Felix Sutton, James G. McCoy, Asa Squiers and Job McMorrow.
Appointment of Delegates from Braxton to the Parkersburg Convention.

Editors Intelligencer:
At a large and respectable meeting of the Union citizens of Braxton county, held at the Court House on the 7th of April, 1863, for the purpose of appointing delegates to attend a State Convention to be held at Parkersburg, in order to appoint, in their judgment, suitable men to fill the various offices within the new State.
On motion, John Morrison, Esq., was called to the Chair, and D. P. McMorrow, appointed Secretary.
The object of the meeting being explained, the following named gentlemen after being duly nominated were unanimously elected as delegates: James G. McCoy, Esq., Dr. Job McMorrow, Wm. D. Rollyson, Esq., Phelix Sutton, Esq. and Asa Squires.
Whereupon the following resolutions were adopted:
Resolved, That we the people here assembled do instruct our delegates to support no man for any office within the gift of a free people who is not an uncompromising Union and New State man.
Resolved, That the proceedings of this meeting be published in the Wheeling Intelligencer.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
