Prayer by Rev. J. L. Clark.

Mr. Crawford moved to adjourn.

Upon this motion, Mr. Ruffner demanded the yeas and nays, and they were ordered and taken:

The YEAS were-Messrs. Barrick, Bowyer, Crawford, Crooks, Dawson, Dunbar, Dunn, Foster, Gillilan, Goff, Griffin, Keeney, Mann, McWhorter, Michael, Sheets, Sweeney, Turner, Van Winkle, and Wright-20.

The NAYS were-Messrs. Patrick (Speaker), Ballard, Barns, Boggs, Copley, Davidson, Hagar, Hale, Hinchman, Holman, Kittle, Kramer, Lamb, Little, Lough, McGrew, Rader, Robinson, Ross, Ruffner, Sutton, Teter of Upshur, and Wheat-23.

The following gentlemaen asked, and obtained, leave of absence during the day: -Messrs. Crawford, McWhorter, and Goff.

The Journal was read and approved.

The unfinished business was taken up, when, on motion, the House adjourned.
