December 14, 1863
We have a letter, now rather late, from Rowlesburgh, giving us the news that quite a fright occurred in that locality of frights, St. George in Tucker county, on the 7th inst., and that the judge and lawyers holding court made a precipitate scatterment in anticipation of one of the periodical raids which afflict that vicinity. We presume that the danger was more imaginative than real or we should have heard more about it before this time.
