A BOLD THIEF.:On Thursday last, Capt. Frank Kelley, (son of Gen. Kelley) who is acting as Quartermaster at Parkersburg lost a valuable horse under the following circumstances: Capt. Kelley hitched his horse to a hitching post in Parkersburg, and went into his office. When he returned he was surprised to find that some person had mounted his horse and had gone off with him. Inquiry developed the fact that the horse had been taken by a fellow who had been hanging about the place, and who was strongly suspected of being a rebel spy. A squad of cavalry was sent in pursuit but they returned after an unsuccessful search for the thief.
