Arrest Of An Alleged Government Plunderer. - Deputy U. S. Marshal W. H. Irwin yesterday brought into the city and committed to jail I. Bender, of Fetterman, Marion county. Bender was indicted for a misdemeanor at the late term of the Federal Court at Clarksburg. He is said to have be[e]n detected in stealing Government clothing. He had just escaped from Pruntytown jail, where he had been confined for threatening the life of his wife.
