SOLDIER SHOT
March 28, 1864
We learn that a few days since Edgar Harris, of this city, a member of the First Virginia Infantry, was shot in the right side by rebel bushwhackers near Petersburg, West Virginia, while on recruiting service in that vicinity. He is now in the hands of the rebels and is not expected to recover.
