In conjunction with Governor’s Arts Awards on April 3, the West Virginia Division of Culture and History honored individuals for artistic excellence and accomplishment, dedication to discipline, and potential for further professional development. Eight awards of $3,500 each have been approved by the West Virginia Commission on the Arts. These fellowships, awarded to support the artist, are based solely on previous work.
