The West Virginia Division of Culture and History will offer its second set of basic cake decorating classes at the Culture Center, State Capitol Complex in Charleston. Beginners as well as experienced cake decorators are encouraged to attend. Robin Taylor, a decorator with more than nine years experience and training, will lead the classes.
The classes will include four sessions at the basic instructional level at a cost of $40. Classes will take place on four Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 5, and continuing on Oct. 12, Oct. 19, and Nov. 9, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. A list of necessary supplies will be provided to all registrants.
Space is limited to 15 participants for the cake decorating classes and registration is required.
Taylor works for the Department of Education and the Arts and has taught Adult Basic Education Cake Decorating Classes for Kanawha County Schools and Fayette Vocational and Technical School.
