CHARLESTON, W. Va. – Looking for a family activity that’s both fun and educational? Look no further than the West Virginia Division of Culture and History’s “Once Upon a Time at the Museum.”
Families are invited to visit the award-winning West Virginia State Museum for this very special evening filled with storytelling and music. Songs will accompany each tale read in Discovery Rooms throughout the Museum.
“Once Upon a Time at the Museum” is free and open to the public. It will be held July 15th through the 18th, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. No registration is necessary.
Listed below is the schedule for “Once Upon a Time at the Museum”:
Monday, July 15: “When I was Young in the Mountains” in the Company Town
Tuesday, July 16: “Golden Delicious” in Fairs and Festivals
Wednesday, July 17: “Rocks in My Pockets” in the Company Town
Thursday, July 18: “John Henry” at the Train Depot
The West Virginia State Museum recently received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.
