CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Culture and History’s proposed Annual Work Program for its 2016-2017 Historic Preservation Program is available for public review and comment. The work program describes the activities and programs the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) will undertake to assist communities and residents in preserving the physical evidence of the state’s history. The deadline for public comment is Aug. 31, 2016.
Copies of the proposed work program may be requested by contacting Pamela Brooks, grants coordinator at the SHPO office, the Culture Center, State Capitol Complex, 1900 Kanawha Blvd., E., Charleston, W.Va., 25305-0300. It also is available at the division’s website at http://www.wvculture.org/shpo/work/index.html.
Those who review the program document may submit comments by completing a “Work Program Comment Form,” which is included in the work program, and returning it to Pam Brooks at the Culture Center address or by email to [email protected].
